How To use our new music calendar to explore the newest Hip-hop, Rap, and R&B releases!
Step 1: Click on the event listed for the day of your choosing
Step 2: Click “All Events” (in the top left corner)
Step 3: Click the drop down arrow next to “Upcoming”
Step 4: Select the day of your choosing
Step 5: All of the new music releases for that day will pop up
Step 6: See our ratings and listen for yourself with the links!
Tip for Accessing the Links:
The Spotify and Apple Music links are best compatible with mobile devices. If you are trying to access them on a laptop or desktop and are getting an error message, try opening them in an incognito tab.
Step 7: Check out the comments on your favorite songs!
Alternate Ways To Access The New Music
Option 1 ~ Using the Month View
Step 1: Click on the event listed for the day of your choosing
Step 2: Click “All Events” (in the top left corner)
Step 3: Click ‘Month’ on the search bar
Step 4: The calendar will populate with all of the releases for each day!
Option 2 ~ Using The Day View
Step 1: Click on the event listed for the day of your choosing
Step 2: Click “All Events” (in the top left corner)
Step 3: Click ‘Day’ on the search bar
Step 4: Click the drop down arrow next to the date
Step 5: Select the day of your choosing
Step 6: All of the new music releases for that day will pop up!
How To Use The Search Bar
Step 1: Click on any event listed for any day
Step 2: Click “All Events” (in the top left corner)
Step 3: Click the drop down arrow next to “Upcoming”
Step 4: Select any day prior to August 7th, 2025
Step 5: Type and search an artist, album, or song name within the search bar
Step 6: The page will populate with all the releases by that artist or with that album or song title!
How To Use Event Categories and Event Tags to Filter Searches
Step 1: Click on the event listed for the day of your choosing
Step 2: Scroll down to event details
Step 3: To filter by Release type click the hyperlinked Release type name listed under “Event Category”
Step 3a: Click the drop down arrow next to “Upcoming”
Step 3b: Select any day prior to August 7th, 2025
Step 3c: The page will populate with all the releases categorized under that Event Category!
Step 4: To filter by Artist Name click the hyperlinked Artist name listed under “Event Tags”
Step 4a: Click the drop down arrow next to “Upcoming”
Step 4b: Select any day prior to August 7th, 2025
Step 4c: The page will populate with all the releases categorized under that Event Tag!
Troubleshooting Tips
IF YOU ARE HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE PAGE POPULATING WITH CONTENT, MAKE SURE WHENEVER YOU PRESS THE BACK ARROW OR REFRESH THE PAGE YOU FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
Step 1: Click the drop down arrow next to “Upcoming”
Step 2: Select any day prior to August 7th, 2025 and proceed with the steps listed above
